Airport Transfers
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport departure transfer will arrive at the airport at 08.00 on Day 21.

London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the airport and your London hotel. But when you book your Trafalgar tour and take advantage of our land and air packages, we have included a FREE transfer to and from London’s airports and your Trafalgar London hotel. For passengers who have their own flight arrangements we offer you the opportunity to purchase inexpensive transfers to and from London’s Heathrow – Trafalgar has negotiated special rates for the Dot2Dot transfer from London’s Heathr
Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
For included transfers: Your flights must be booked directly by Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. For chargeable transfers: Your Travel Agent provides detailed flight information to Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. Once transfers are booked they cannot be changed.
For London arrivals, you must stay at a London hotel booked by Trafalgar on the night of arrival and the night prior to your departure date.
Trafalgar only includes one inbound and one outbound transfer.
In the event of flight delays outside of Trafalgar’s control, the transfers will be deemed to be cancelled.
All transfers are based on group transfers. No refund is therefore available for missed transfers, or passengers not using this service.
Heathrow Airport: National Express Dot2Dot will pick up and drop off in time to meet all flights to/from London’s Heathrow Airport. For guests arriving at the Dot2Dot desk after 22.00 hrs please make use of the courtesy phone to arrange your transfer to your Trafalgar hotel.
Gatwick Airport: Passengers who have booked Trafalgar’s Land and Air packages arriving at London’s Gatwick Airport are provided with a Gatwick Express train voucher. The Gatwick Express train journey from Gatwick Airport to London’s Victoria Station takes 30 minutes. Guests then need to make their way from Victoria Station to their Trafalgar hotel.
European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar''s Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Please ask for prices of transfers at the time of booking your extra night accommodation.
Land only passengers arriving or departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days but whose flights don''t coincide with the listed transfer times below may also book and purchase these transfers. Free London Return
Passengers may return to London by Trafalgar motorcoach at NO EXTRA CHARGE, instead of departing from Paris. Accommodation will be required, as arrival in London is late afternoon/early evening. Ask your travel agent to book this for you.

Day 1- Depart USA Overnight flight to London.

Day 2- Arrive London (2 nights) Welcome to London! After checking into your Trafalgar hotel you have free time to relax and unwind.

Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. Then enjoy free time at leisure to explore this exciting city. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4 - London – Amsterdam Greetings from our Tour Director as we drive to Dover for our Channel crossing to Calais in France. We drive through Belgium en route to Amsterdam, where we see the Mint Tower and Dam Square. After a Welcome Drink we enjoy a canal cruise in our glass-topped boat. (continental breakfast)

Day 5 - Amsterdam – Cologne – Rhine Cruise – Frankfurt (Offenbach) We head into Germany to Cologne to see its gothic cathedral. Then we travel via Bonn to Boppard for our Rhine cruise past castles and vineyards. Finally, on to our hotel in the Rhineland. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Sheraton Offenbach

Day 6 - Frankfurt (Offenbach) – Heidelberg – Strasbourg – Engelberg (2 nights) First to Heidelberg to view the castle. Next we make our way to medieval Strasbourg where we see the cathedral. Then we enjoy a scenic drive to the Swiss border and on to Engelberg. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Schweizerhof (2 nights)

Day 7 - Lucerne Excursion It''s only a short drive to nearby Lucerne where we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of Louis XVI''s Swiss Guard, and the Chapel Bridge. Later, there''s time at leisure perhaps to scale a Swiss mountain by cable car or shop! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Engelberg – Liechtenstein – Innsbruck We pass the Walensee en route to the Principality of Liechtenstein, stopping in the capital, Vaduz. Then we cross the border into Austria and follow the Arlberg route into Tyrol and Innsbruck. During our orientation tour our Tour Director introduces us to a Hidden Treasure! (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 - Innsbruck – Venice (Mestre) (2 nights) Today we drive over the 620-foot high Europa Bridge and along the Brenner Pass into Italy. Next, we travel through the foothills of the Dolomites to magical Venice. This evening maybe enjoy a gondola serenade along the canals of Venice, listening to Italian melodies! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Novotel Venezia (2 nights)

Day 10 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure We enjoy an included canal cruise by private motor launch to St. Mark''s Square. We''ll view the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace before visiting a glass-blowing factory. Then free time to shop or cruise to the Island of Burano (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 11 - Venice (Mestre) – Rome (2 nights) Today we drive into the Apennine hills past Bologna, into Tuscany and Umbria. Soon we are in the region of Latium en route to Rome. Tonight, why not experience a little of ''La Dolce Vita''? (Buffet breakfast)

Day 12 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Today''s guided tour includes a visit to St. Peter''s Basilica where we see Michelangelo''s Pieta, then we cross the Tiber to see the Forum, the Colosseum and to overlook the Circus Maximus. Then perhaps visit the Sistine Chapel? (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 - Rome – Isle of Capri - Sorrento An early start through the vineyards of Frascati and into the Campania region. We reach Naples and embark on our cruise to the Isle of Capri. Here we ascend to Capri town by funicular and enjoy a guided walking tour. We also visit some of the gardens and view the Faraglioni rocks. Then we take our ferry to Sorrento, a clifftop summer resort, for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 14 - Sorrento – Pompeii – Assisi Off to Pompeii where a walking tour with a local guide takes us around the excavations. Then past the Abbey of Monte Cassino, we reach the Umbrian hills and Assisi, St. Francis'' town. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Il Castello

Day 15 - Assisi – Florence We admire the Basilica of St. Francis with its frescoes by Giotto. Next to Florence where our walking tour features the Duomo, Piazza Signoria and a visit to Santa Croce. Then time to shop for leather and gold and later we make a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic views. (Buffet breakfast)

Hotel: Grand Mediterraneo

Day 16 - Florence – Pisa – Nice (2) – Monte Carlo Excursion First to Pisa to see its Leaning Tower. Then we pass the quarries of Carrara and drive along the autostrada via Genoa to Nice. Later we visit the Principality of Monaco where we see the Monte Carlo Casino before we enjoy a Highlight Dinner in a French restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 17 - Nice – Côte d''Azur Excursion This morning we drive along the sparkling shores to the fashionable resort of Cannes where we see the Film Festival Theatre. Then into the hills, we stop at medieval St. Paul de Vence where another Hidden Treasure is revealed to us. Next we visit a local perfumery before returning to Nice. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 18 - Nice – Avignon – Lyon We drive via Aix-en-Provence to Avignon on the River Rhône. Time to admire the broken bridge as well as the Papal Palace before we head to Lyon, where we see the Fourvière Hill and Place Bellecour. Tonight, we enjoy a Highlight Dinner in a typical French restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 19 - Lyon – Beaune – Paris (2 nights) Today''s drive takes us along the Rhône Valley on our way to charming Beaune. From here we travel through the wine-producing Burgundy region to Paris for two nights with the chance to take in an exciting Parisian cabaret! (Buffet breakfast)

Day 20 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Today''s guided sightseeing tour features a drive along the Champs Élysées from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, the ascent of the Eiffel Tower to the second level by elevator, plus views of Notre Dame. This evening, we join our Tour Director and fellow traveling companions for a Farewell Dinner. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Day 21 - Paris – USA This morning we say ‘au revoir’ to Paris and our new-found friends. (Buffet breakfast)

YOUNG TRAVELER AGES - SAVE 10%

Share your holiday memories with your family and take advantage of a discount on the Land-only portion of your tour. Young Travelers must be under the age of 18 years old on the tour departure date, and MUST be accompanied by and adult (limit of one young traveler per room).

On all escorted tours, children under 5 years old are NOT accepted. The Young Traveler must be the specified age at the time of travel to be eligible for this discount. This discount cannot be combined with our TRAVEL WITH FRIENDS DISCOUNTS, and is limited to one young traveler discount per room. SINGLE TRAVELER room share and save

One of the great benefits of Escorted Travel is the ease of traveling solo, and with Trafalgar we make it simple by offering the following options:

Guaranteed Room Share

When traveling alone, we understand that some clients do not want to incur the expense of an additional single room supplement. With this in mind, on the majority of our itineraries, Trafalgar offers you the opportunity to purchase these tours on a 'room sharing' basis. We will accommodate you with a fellow passenger of the same sex on a 'twin room' basis (non-smoking rooms only). Please note that regrettably, we cannot guarantee that room mates will be of a similar age group. Even so, it is an enjoyable way to travel and get to make new friends and a positive way to stretch your vacation budget further. If we fail to match you we will provide a single room at no extra cost.

This service does not apply to our Free & Easy Series, Cruises, European Express tour, Egypt, Turkey, Israel and extra night accommodation. Conditions apply.

TRIPLE ROOM DISCOUNT
