Then we drive through the rollingCotswold Hills dotted with charming small villages, where we seethatched roofed cottages, until we reach the half-timbered town ofStratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare''s birthplace. Day 5 - Shakespeare Country - Leeds
Our day begins seeing Coventry''s two cathedrals, learning of thehorrific World War II bombing raids. Next we continue to VikingYork where an orientation tour shows us the gothic Minster and the11th century Shambles, the narrow cobbled streets. Then we head toour hotel in Leeds where we dine tonight. Day 6 - Leeds - Edinburgh (Falkirk) (2 nights)
We travel to the city of Durham built on a peninsula on the RiverWear. We''ll visit Palace Green where the ancient castle with itskeep is located opposite the Romanesque cathedral. Then we continuethrough the Northumberland National Park and into Scotland,stopping to view the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey, en route to AirthCastle. (Full breakfast)Hotel: Airth Castle

Day 7 - Edinburgh sightseeing
We drive to nearby Edinburgh where our sightseeing shows us PrincesStreet, the Royal Mile and views of the castle. Then free time toperhaps potter around the Grassmarket or visit Holyrood House.Alternatively you may wish to venture outside the city and visitthe Rosslyn Chapel, made famous by Dan Brown''s Da Vinci Code.Later, you have the option of a night out with Highland dancing,bagpipes and regional specialties such as haggis. Day 8 - Edinburgh (Falkirk) - Chester
Today, we drive through the Southern Uplands to Moffat Woollens enroute back into England. Then we enjoy a scenic drive through theLake District stopping in Grasmere. Along the shores of Windermereand through pastures, reminiscent of Wordsworth''s great poetry, toRuncorn near Chester for dinner and overnight stay. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)Hotel: Holiday Inn

Day 9 - Chester area - Dublin (2 nights)
We''re off to the centre of Roman Chester this morning, with achance to admire its Tudor architecture and galleried shops knownas the Rows. Time to walk the Roman walls and perhaps visit thecathedral or simply shop for souvenirs before we return to ourcoach. Then we skirt the Snowdonia National Park in Wales and driveto Holyhead where we board our ferry and cruise to Ireland. Day 10 - Dublin sightseeing
This morning our guided sightseeing tour of this ''fair city''includes Trinity College, views of St. Patrick''s Cathedral andhistoric Phoenix Park. Day 11 - Dublin - Limerick

Day 12 - Limerick - Tralee
This morning we enjoy a short orientation which shows us St. Mary''sCathedral and King John''s Castle. Then there''s time perhaps tovisit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park before we begin our drive viathe prettiest village in Ireland, Adare, en route to Killarney. Wedrive around the Ring of Kerry with magnificent scenery includingplunging cliffs, granite mountains and enthralling seascapes. Lateron to Tralee for the night. Day 13 - Tralee - Cork - Waterford
Today we travel into County Cork, stopping at Blarney Castle andhave the chance to kiss the famous stone in order to acquire the''gift of the gab''. From here it''s on to Cork, where an orientationtour shows us the City Hall and St. Anne''s Shandon Church. Finallyon to Waterford, home of the world-renowned crystal, where we visitthe showroom. Day 15 - Cardiff - Bath - London
Orientation in the Welsh capital, Cardiff, shows us the MillenniumStadium and the historic castle. Then we cross the River Severninto England and admire the Georgian architecture of the city ofBath which was the setting for several of the novels by JaneAusten. Next we journey to see the mysterious stone circle,Stonehenge which stands on the flat Salisbury Plain. Then we seeSalisbury cathedral, which has the tallest spire in England, beforereturning to London at the end of our tour where we bid farewell toour Tour Director.
