Day 1 - Arrive Chicago
Welcome to Chicago, the Windy City! A complimentary transfer isprovided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel thisafternoon to greet you and answer your questions. Join us at 6:00pmfor a Welcome Drink at the hotel.Hotel: The Palmer House Hilton

Day 2 - Chicago - Springfield - St. Louis
We learn about Chicago on an orientation tour viewing the famousLakeshore Drive, the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. Our next stopis Springfield, capital of Illinois and final resting place ofAbraham Lincoln. We stop and pay our respects at Lincoln''s Tomb.Later, we arrive in St. Louis for an orientation tour of the cityincluding views of the famous Gateway Arch. This evening we enjoy aHighlight Dinner cruise on the Mississippi River. (Full breakfast /Highlight dinner)Hotel: Omni Majestic

Day 3 - St. Louis - Meramec Caverns - Branson (2 nights)
We start the day with a tour of the historic Anheuser BuschBrewery. We follow the journey of how beer is produced, visit thefamous Budweiser Clydesdales paddock and stables, beechwood agingcellars, historic brewhouse and packaging plant, and taste finebeer and malt beverage products. Later we explore some of therarest and largest cave formations at the Meramec Caverns and thentravel into the heart of the Ozark Mountains to Branson, theall-American musical extravaganzaand entertainment mecca of the Midwest. Day 4 - Branson at leisure
We have the full day at leisure to experience one of America''s mostpopular entertainment destinations. See fabulous shows, enjoyfiddling, comedy, banjo picking, big band, country, pop and more -all performed by legendary entertainers such as Andy Williams,Petula Clark, Yakov Smirnoff and Shoji Tabuchi. Your Tour Directorwill assist you with planning your day. (Full breakfast)

Day 5 - Branson - Will Rogers Memorial - Oklahoma City
Today we travel along some of the best-preserved sections of Route66 as we pass through Eastern Oklahoma. Outside of Tulsa we visitthe Will Rogers Memorial Museum, dedicated to one of America''s mostbeloved celebrities. We then arrive in Oklahoma City where we stopat the Oklahoma City National Memorial, commemorating the 1995bombing of the Federal Building. This evening we are taken to therestored Bricktown district for a Highlight Dinner. (Full breakfast/ Highlight dinner) Hotel: Courtyard Marriott Downtown

Day 6 - Oklahoma City - Route 66 Museum - Amarillo
This morning we visit the National Cowboy & Western HeritageMuseum whose mission is "To preserve and interpret the heritage ofthe American West for the enrichment of the public." Then wecontinue to Clinton and visit the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum, wherewe experience the history and culture of each decade of the greatRoute 66. As we enter Texas, we''re back on Route 66 for some famouspicture stops along the "Mother Road" and arrive in the city ofAmarillo. (Full breakfast) Hotel: The Ambassador Hotel

Day 7 - Amarillo - Albuquerque (2 nights)
After making a short photo stop at the "pop art" sculpture known asCadillac Ranch, we leave Texas and enter New Mexico. We arrive inAlbuquerque for a two-night stay. Albuquerque is the largest cityin New Mexico and owes its explosive growth to the economic boomthat Route 66 brought to the city during the golden age of the"Mother Road." Cruise along Albuquerque''s Route 66, now CentralAvenue, with its architecture typical of the Route 66 era and stopat the famous 66 Diner, where we step back in time and may betempted by the delicious shakes and pies. This evening we enjoy aHighlight Dinner featuring Southwestern flavors at a localrestaurant. (Full breakfast / Highlight dinner)Hotel: Albuquerque Marriott

Day 8 - Albuquerque sightseeing & at leisure
This morning, we wander through historic Old Town Albuquerque.Learn about the city''s history, discover interesting original adobebuildings including properties listed on the National Register ofHistoric Places, and browse the shops for Southwestern artifactsand souvenirs. This afternoon is at leisure; perhaps join ouroptional excursion to Santa Fe, complete with a guided open-airtrolley tour. (Full breakfast)

Day 9 - Albuquerque - Sky City Acoma Pueblo - Flagstaff
Our first stop this morning is at Sky City Acoma Pueblo, where weare taken on a guided tour with a Native American resident. Theoldest continuously inhabited community in North America, thismesa-top village is known worldwide for its unique art andprofoundly rich culture. Arriving in Arizona we travel through theamazing landscapes of the Painted Desert and Petrified ForestNational Park. Passing through Winslow, Arizona, we head into thecool pine-covered elevations of the Colorado Plateau. We overnightin Flagstaff where old cafes, motor courts and the colorfuldowntown district all show evidence of the impact Route 66 had onthis town. Day 10 - Flagstaff - Navajo Reservation - Grand Canyon NationalPark
This morning we travel north into the Navajo Indian Reservation.After a stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post, we travel alongthe Grand Canyon''s scenic Desert View Drive taking in theever-changing vistas. We overnight inside the national park,allowing plenty of time to explore this natural wonder. For thebest views of the Grand Canyon, why not take an optionalflightseeing by plane orhelicopter? Day 11 - Grand Canyon - Seligman - Kingman - Las Vegas
Today our Tour Director will reveal a Hidden Treasure to us. Thismorning we enjoy some of the original parts of Route 66 as we stopat the historic towns of Seligman and Kingman, before crossing theColorado River into Nevada. Today''s journey ends with an afternoonarrival in Las Vegas where there''s time to enjoy the casinos, showsand all-night entertainment. (Full breakfast) Hotel: Las Vegas Hilton

Day 12 - Las Vegas - Hollywood - Los Angeles
Today it''s back on a portion of Route 66 at Barstow and then on toLos Angeles. Along the way we enjoy some of the sights of LosAngeles, including a stop in Hollywood to view the famous HollywoodSign, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman''s Chinese Theatre. We thendrive along Sunset Boulevard through Beverly Hills and all the wayto the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica, where there is time to wanderaround. Now that we have had our "Kicks on Route 66," we enjoy thefinal evening of our tour with a Farewell Dinner. (Full breakfast /Dinner)Hotel: The Westin Los Angeles Airport

Day 13 - Depart Los Angeles
